My Happy New Year

Bright natural dining room nook with vases plates and fruits on the table.

Dear Loved Ones,

I will not mention your names as you alone know who you are!

As I sit and reflect back on the past year and start to think of the goals I should set forward, I can’t seem to control my mind from reflecting back at the past year and thinking how important it is for me to pick my wish more carefully this year.

To you, who held my hand, wiped my tears, inspired me, were proud of me, pushed me further, never let me stay down, kept an eye on me and made sure I was fine even as I forgot to look back. THANK YOU!!!!

Thank you for all of the unforgettable moments and experiences we had together.

Thank you for helping me face my fears and owning them.

Thank you for sticking around when you had so many other places to be.

Thank you for always assuring me that you are the person I can count on and trust.

Thank you for being patient with me as I grow.

Thank you for loving me even when it seemed hard to.

Thank you for helping me find all the pieces to put me back together.

Thank your for celebrating my success and achievements as if it was your own.

Thank you for holding my hand even if it became heavy at times.

Thank your for giving me hope that there is always tomorrow and always reminding me that new opportunities will come.

Thank you for helping me become the person I am today.

Thank you for being in my life.

So my dear, my wish for the coming year is that I can be half the person that you have been for me all of this time and promise to always remind myself that I am lucky because I have been loved by you.
